Funded by the European Commission, the conference aims to raise awareness of the EU in schools by providing information, resources and guidance for teachers and school leaders to use across the curriculum and whole school.
The conference will cover:
• introduction to the EU and how it works
• free European Commission resources and how to use them
• raising awareness of the EU in the primary curriculum
• raising awareness of the EU in the secondary curriculum
• the EU Lifelong Learning Programme of support and funding for international school partnerships (Comenius & eTwinning)
• using thinking skills to learn about the EU
• primary case study : EU school linking
• secondary case study : EU school linking
