Summer has flown by and eTwinning has been busy preparing lots of activities for you to get involved in. One of the things that the eTwinning Central Support Service in Brussels has been doing is coordinating a new selection of online eTwinning Learning Events for teachers across Europe to take part in this Autumn.
eTwinning Learning Events are short, sharp online courses that focus on a specific theme or tool that you can apply to your eTwinning project work and beyond. The events are conducted online over a 4 or 5 day period in your own time and give teachers a wonderful opportunity not only to develop new skills and knowledge but also to collaborate with colleagues from different European countries whilst being guided by an expert tutor.
Between September and December there are 6 different events to choose from covering a diverse range of topics including "Using radio in eTwinning", "Children’s rights – thoughts for teachers" and "Web Based Video".
More information about these eTwinning Learning Events can be found here: http://www.etwinning.net/en/pub/professional_development/learning_events.htm. To get involved make a note of when the application date is and then apply through your own eTwinning Desktop at www.etwinning.net.
