The British Council will be running a series of introductory one-day courses throughout the UK this year for those who are new to international school partnerships. The courses are open to anyone interested in setting up an international school partnership; you do not have to have any experience in this area or be participating in a programme managed by the British Council. Each course covers the role of an international co-ordinator within a school, collaborative curriculum projects and partnership communications.
The dates for the first two courses are below; dates for courses in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland will be announced later.
London (British Council office) - 17 June
Manchester (British Council office) - 21 June
If you are interested in joining one of the courses listed, or future courses, or would like to commission a course for your local authority or federation, please send an e-mail to ccsupport@britishcouncil.org by 31 May 2011 and further information will follow. Please also share this information with any colleagues who might be interested.
