U4Energy Competition

Schools across Europe can participate in this exciting competition to demonstrate their achievements towards a more sustainable future. The competition opened in September 2010 and you can submit your schools' activities in energy consumption habits until May 2011. www.u4energy.eu

Questionnaire: International Coordinator training

International Co-ordinator Training for Intercultural Education and Diversity (ICTPIED) is an EU multilateral project. It aims to develop a course/training materials for International Coordinators who run projects in schools.

The British Council (the National Support Service for eTwinning in the UK) is part of the ICTPIED project. As a first step, we're asking teachers to complete a questionnaire on what sort of training they think they need to be an International Coordinator and how they would like it to be delivered.

We're calling for all of our eTwinning Ambassadors to complete this online questionnaire and pass it on to any contacts who may be interested. The questionnaire can be found here

   Celebrate European School Collaboration - Join Today!

Are you currently involved in a Comenius Partnership? Join schools and colleges all over Europe in celebrating Comenius Week 2011, from 2-9 May. 

Simply plan an activity or event to take place during the week around the theme Celebrating the Languages and Cultures of Europe. 

Share your event or activity online and become a "British Council Comenius Week UK" contact on etwinning.net and you could win a flip video camera for your project.  The British Council could also join you on the day of your celebrations. 

You could...

• introduce the whole school to your partner's language
• invite the local community to an exhibition of your Comenius project activities
• ask your Comenius Assistant to plan a culture immersion day or week
• collaborate online with eTwinning
