A Healthy Passport
Michael Purves
Yester Primary School
A Healthy Passport is an ICT based project between our P5 class, based in East Lothian and Kuvansin koulu Primary School’s year 6 class in Finland. The project uses a blog to exchange information about the cultures and lifestyles of the children in the two countries, in particular our sporting traditions. The pictures are taken when Finnish sports stars visited our school.
“Teachers are learning from each other e.g. how to blog and developing a learning community, and the skills developed are impacting both schools”
I nostri territori
Philip Johnson
Churchfields Primary School
Through this project we aimed at broadening the cultural horizons of the student and staff, promoting language skills, using a blog and other online communication tools and supporting interculturality by establishing ICT as a creative method of both communication and pedagogy.
“There is good evidence from the files uploaded on the Twinspace of the range projects which have been developed”
Hello everybody,
I'm one of the Philip Johnson's partner teachers in the project "I NOSTRI TERRITORI...", I want to thank you for chosing our project: seeing our blog image, on which we have been working for months, here was a huge pleasure and a big honour: we feel part of this second prize!
Thanks a lot and Congratulations to Philip!
